Extremely doubtful. The dude attends Latin Mass. Doubt he's interested in dancing for the tik tok creatures.

My dad didn't talk to me for over a year at one point over politics of all stupid things.

I’m sure you were a good lil rational boy like you always are, didn’t mean no harm lol

I don’t think I’ve personally met one of my family members or friends that’s anti IVF.
That's because it's new and nobody really even knows how it works. IVF is a fertilized egg, just outside of the womb. How hard is it to understand someone who is pro-life and believes life begins at conception having a moral issue with IVF? People fertilize multiple eggs and discard the ones they don't want. It's the same as abortion.

The guy probably spends half an hour styling hair so let’s not act like he’s a model of asceticism

But you realize that Jesse Kelly and Matt Walsh are also influencers, right?

Yeh, I understand exactly what it is

But most Catholics are normal human beings. They see IVF as giving life to a couple who can’t conceive naturally. Regardless of what the Bible or Rome says the majority of Catholics don’t care. Now if you go to some retreat thing sure.

But your normal Catholic that’s getting hammered and gambling, nah, don’t care

I don't know what any of that has to do with anything. I'm just saying he doesn't strike me as an influencer. His X account isn't verified and his last post was last October.

Matt Walsh and Jesse Kelly make their living doing the social media thing. Butker has a real job.

Yes, and it's these exact people who should be driving policy and formulating doctrine.

He literally just listed IVF in that one bit. It was a 20+ minute speech. Focusing on that seems to be missing the point, but that's what people do when they want to punch the wind.

I'm Catholic. I've only had a couple conversations about it with other people, but they've never really thought about it. I'm not even sure what I would do in that situation if IVF was the only option for my wife. But you're condemning a Catholic for having the right opinion according to his faith. Your argument is the same as saying "pre-marital sex is wrong, but most Catholics don't care." You're correct, but I certainly wouldn't be saying another Catholic is wrong for saying pre-marital sex is wrong.

As a Catholic we would be in a lot better place if your normal everyday beer drinking Catholic was formulating doctrine than the pedo harboring communist fricks in rome

X is hilarious with this. It's like blue haired feminists peeked their empty heads into a discussion between those of shared faith and took to socials screaming "I can't believe he'd say that to meeeeee"

If Lebron gave a speech to an HBCU and talked about minority problems and liberal policies I have a very very good feeling this board full of white people and conservatives would have a discussion and meltdown over it

I don’t think we would see “Guys, no worries his opinion his different than ours. Lebron was just speaking to his audience that shares his ideals”

If Lebron went to an HBCU and spoke about the value of the nuclear family and the importance of faith and traditional values, I suspect many would support the shite out of that. I also doubt the same crew slitting their wrists over Butker would shame Lebron, but I'll leave random irrelevant hypotheticals to the pros like you. Your posts in here don't interest me. You're raging behind emojis. Meh.

Yeh, because it’s something they agree with

If Lebron went to an HBCU and said something they completely disagree with, do you really think conservatives on this board would say “he is speaking to his audience why should anyone else care?”

frick no. There would be threads and melting on it

I know your tiny little brain can't handle it, but there's a fairly significant difference in him not talking to me vs me not talking to him wity the way you're trying to use it against me I'd say be better but you've got hundreds of thousands of posts showing you're incapable of better.

The point is the stuff these cows are flipping out over should be stuff nobody disagrees with. They are completely changing is message, some no doubt intentionally. They aren't even focusing on the more controversial stuff like LGBT, abortion, IVF, etc. it's all pearl clutching about how he told women the only way to be happy is to be a homemaker. Which is a hilariously ignorant way of interpreting the message.

You probably agree but because of one little part that set you off, you now have to defend the morons who can't comprehend words.

I literally posted this. Maybe you need to not be emotional like those blue haired cows you are talking about

quote:

Here is the other thing, what he said about women and being homemakers really wasn’t bad, but he was such a judgmental prick about other things and his entire delivery that he comes off bad everywhere

He didn’t tell women they should stay home, he simply said some women are happier being mom than having a career, which is 100% true. A less judgmental peachy religious nut could have said

“Some of you women will become doctors, lawyers, accountants have have successful careers and that is wonderful. But some of you here will give that up to be mothers and homemakers, and that’s great too. Don’t let the media lie to you and tell you that you can’t be fulfilled being a wife and mother if you choose. That’s a life worth being proud of as well”

Cool. I wasn't focused on you. I was focused on the angry fems and their dumb reactions. Welcome to the conversation. Now you can relax.

You still sound mad in that quote btw. But it's ok. You can be mad. Speak your truth.

My truth is he is an ignorant likely very hypocritical typical religious zealot

Feels good to speak to justice
