I heard something the other day saying this was his last year at LSU, I thought he would be here one more year.

Draft eligible sophomore. With the season he’s having I can’t imagine he comes back. Would be outstanding though.

I don’t think it is as automatic as people are saying namely Moscona

He’s a corner power hitter that Ks a bunch. He’s not all that rare

Crap, I didn’t realize he was draft eligible. That young man has made major improvements at the plate between last year and this year. His play in the field has been impressive also.

Bear Jones should 100% go, he will get offered a lot of money. He has some of the most natural power LSU has seen in a long time. Huge frame, plays a solid first base now. That being said if i'm him i'm setting a price and if no one wants to offer me that price i'm coming back and trying to raise my stock.

I don’t think it’s automatic either, though he probably bumped himself up with his defense.

Get him a nice NIL deal and it’s possible.

I’d get another year of NIL before I go make 29 thousand a year for three years at least.

I hate to say it, but I somewhat agree with you.

He's learning how to hit off speed and play first base, which I believe he'll continue to develop in both areas and do very well. I think he'll eventually make a good pro, but I'm not sure he's some high pick being offered so much money that he's going to automatically leave.

I saw an article the other day on ESPN+ that had their top 150+ draft prospects on it. I'm not sure how good ESPN is with that, but he wasn't listed. IIRC, they had 3 of our highschool commits listed on there and 3 or 4 currently on the team. Was going to start a thread just for conversation purposes, but got too busy at work, may do it tomorrow.

Anyways, all that just to say that I'm not so sure he's a high enough pick for him to be considered automatically gone. Maybe it's just wishful thinking from my part since that's my baw.

They’ve had better DES prospects come back to school. Greg Deichman is one & I know there are others, I’m just having a brain fart.

Will be drafted high. Unless somehow Jay can convince him to come back to get in the first round

Scouts are saying he’s likely returning to LSU. Take it for what it’s worth
