I'm not local , is the Baton Rouge media pushing the project for details? I haven't seen any renderings yet.

If Wade is still at LSU we have a top 10-15 current Men’s program, along with the Women and Mulkey, and I guarantee the push would be a lot greater for a new arena.

The latest I heard was that 2 plans would be submitted to LSU in mid June. One of the plans will be selected and LSU will move forward asap

A good talking point for a month. Don’t think it gets done anytime soon, don’t see the financial benefits for the university or state.

It's in the very early stages of design and planning. Last week surveys went out to current season ticket holders for basketball and other sports asking oa bunch of questions about what they prefer and look for in an arena.
It was apparent they are considering nearby accommodations (hotels) and using the arena for other events like concerts and such. ALOT of talk of premium seating options.
