I remember way back Julius Peppers played forward for North Carolina and got decent productive minutes in at a top basketball program. Charlie Ward from FSU is another that comes to mind and he ended up choosing NBA over NFL. It’s very hard to do but if someone is good enough to come give quality depth and minutes then give it a shot.

once he focused on baseball full time he became dominant on the mound

LHSAA felt he was recruited for basketball because he played summer basketball with Zachary kids but somehow still got to play football.

Should have been able to play both but they didn’t ask me

I had heard he seriously considered just playing basketball but people have informed him that he is a unicorn on the football field, not so on basketball court.

He was devastated when LHSAA ruled him ineligible for basketball. He seriously considered quitting football and transferring to IMG to play basketball. Fortunately cooler heads prevailed. He will play basketball if it can be worked out. Kid is the best athlete I have ever seen in high school. He is a freak. If LSU can pull the want out of him he can be an AA TE. He has the hands of a WR in a TE body. His catch radius is insane. If Zachary would have had just a decent QB last year Green could have caught 20 TD’s. QB was turrible.
