SECT starts Tuesday. The situation will have to call for it & they will have to be judicious about it

Meh, these games are slightly more important than tuesday of the sec tourney, get to 13 before it, you likely lock yourself in

He also had a very short warm up session in the bullpen, so tonight was the equivalent of warming up but not entering the game.

The issue is that pitchers tend to be less effective when they pitch a 2nd time in one weekend - partially because of conditioning and partially because batters have seen them already. We also haven't really used very many pitchers twice in a weekend this year so this is new for them
