We’ve got to roll the dice and start Herring in our rotation. This team can’t afford to get down 4-5 runs every Sunday and expect to win with this offense.

I guess it could be better for the #1 if we had a better ace and shite 2nd starter.
But, other than that, LSU is a dream for a regional. If all else fails, all you need to do is get LSU into game 4 and it collapses.

Who believed that the bullpen would hold up going into the CWS last year? After the first loss to Wake and seeing how the bullpen was garbage last year for most of the season, who foresaw what unfolded? This is baseball and anything can happen. Hell, Hurd make wake up. Never know.

Bottom line, if you get to game 3, you beat LSU. The pitching staff is not what we thought it was coming into the season.
