Why make things up?

He was the highest ranking DT LEFT after the many DTs ranked above him committed.

Highest rated not sure but definitely the oldest which I love.

23 year old grown arse man with 5 years in college. My guy has his head on straight.

Take transfers that buy into the program. Kelly doing as he says

I'll have some of that kool-aid.

Maybe like top 100.

Actually ON3 has Adin Hunnington ranked much higher at around the 270th best player with an 88.85 ranking, while Jay’viar is about the 435th with an 87.5 rating. Adin is still uncommitted.

Not sure that really matters at this level of football one step below the NFL. Many guys are juniors by the time they’re 20 and declaring for the NFL draft. They don’t have to wait until they’re 23 to get strong and play at a really high level.

Suggs Highlights

If you haven't seen his tape he's an athlete with really good lateral quickness for a DT, I think he'll struggle to get off blocks in the SEC but I think he can make a few plays here and there with his athleticism and quickness.

Different positions. Huntington wouldn’t see any playing time. We have legit DEs.

I would be worried if we didn’t have Bo Davis. I’m okay with a bunch of lower end talent with high character when the best in the business is coaching them.

Which is exactly why we were not overpaying for DTs out of the portal. If they can be coached, Bo can turn a 3 star into a high 4 star.

We will pay for top quality DTs out of high school but there is zero point in highly overpaying for a DT who can only likely play 1 or 2 years at best.

He’s got two years left. He’s probably going to need this season to get acclimated to the speed and physicality of the game at this level and then be much better in 2025. If he can give us 15 or so snaps/game this year, we’ll take it.

I think he had the other right too. People complain and act a fool, but you can easily change you mind, especially when money is involved.
