I'd be fine if she went to UGA they are not an imminent threat. Can't have Florida getting her (or Oklahoma, but I don't think she goes there)

A couple of things. 1. I read where if you ask to be in transfer portal it can be a dismissal. 2. I can see why alonya would want to come back and not kiya. Kiya got to finish on her terms, not alonya. 3. You don’t necessarily have to have a scholly anymore with nil and Livvy fund.

I would love to have her since it would give our new girls some time to adjust. And with Courtney doing her floor it could be great!

What is not to like about LSU?
if she wants to win? we just won.
if she wants the best culture? we have that too.
if she wants to get paid? our boosters will take care of her.
if she wants to practice everyday in the best gym facility in the nation? come on down to baton rouge.
is a proven home for student athletes who left their former programs SS, Cami, Hoffman, AJ

imo she is the 2nd best gymnast in the nation behind Haleigh. I hope Jay makes the sales pitch and talks to the people he needs to talk to see if a deal can be done.

quote:

agree with both of you on Sierra leading off on beam. I think we keep her in that spot for the first third of the season while the freshman are getting settled into the flow of the college gymnastics season but once March hits (at the latest) one of our younger girls who’s the most solid on beam (probably Chio or Lincoln) should take that spot so they can develop into the next team beam lead off well into post season and for the future

You live for the moment in sports not the next season when you are a championship contender. Sierra had a 9.95 in the most pressure packed moment of her career. When she stuck that landing and bounded off the floor you just knew in that moment the national championship was headed to Baton Rouge. Certainly if her performance slips and other pass her by then adjust the lineup but they better show they are woman enough to take her spot.

If what I’m reading about Selena in twitter is true about why she was supposedly dismissed from the UCLA team, I don’t want her with our team

I wouldn’t trust twitter and I’m not sure ucla is just an outstanding behind the scenes program anymore. I don’t think it’s for us to decide, just like with Jeffrey. I leave that for jay, but mostly the other girls.

The rotation for the Classic is posted for the weekend. Konnor starts on beam and ends on bars. She is in the same rotation as Simone Biles and all the World Champion Center gymnasts.

All I saw from podium coverage is that she was a bit shaky on beam (but what she did hit is beautiful) and did FTY on vault. Haven’t heard or seen anything on her elite bar or floor routines. Fun to see half the LSU coaches there with her and around a bunch of star 2026 recruits!

I saw on social media that Konnor's bars looked really good. I hope she will be competing the double full on vault but not sure it will happen tomorrow. She will need it for nationals and trials.

Konnor, Lexi and Kaliya 's session will be on CNBC LIVE and Peacock LIVE from 7:00 to 9:00 Saturday Evening. EASTERN TIME

LSU posted on Twitter Session 2 at 6:00 pm CENTRAL TIME.

KONNOR!!! fabulous routine, don’t even care that she didn’t do a “real” dismount!

She’s .35 behind Simone without a dismount!

I’m hoping it’s not an Achilles or major knee injury.

Really sad, she just killed her beam routine

She’ll be out until February at the earliest. Hoping coaches don’t have her compete until senior night at the earliest

Well that means she’s probably out for next year. That really sucks for her! I know she said it was for fun but you could see she really wanted it.

ETA: trying to make lemonade out of lemons, this does open up space for Selena in lineups.
