I’m a red wine drinker and know nothing about white wine. Open to different types but lean towards Sauvignon Blanc. TIA

That’s a big budget for a white. You could get a nice Sancerre and have some change to spare. You could get a Puilgy Montrachet and maybe get a few bucks change.

A nice white burgundy is more complex than most red wines

Can't really help there. Go to a quality wine shop and ask for recs.

Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay are really good, and in the 30-60 price range.

Henri/Famille Bourgeois produces a nice range of white Sancerres. Some good ones in the $30 range even.

$120?
If I were going to spend $120 for a bottle of white, I would get a Mersault from Burgundy. I had one at a restaurant during a trip to France a few weeks ago and it was incredible. Martin Wine Cellar has a few excellent choices of this for under your price range.

I had a killer white burgundy in France on my honey moon.

It was creamy and had that fantastic malolactic fermentation.

I havent found anything close to it stateside.

White wines have some insane values

Txakolina is so good and it’s usually in the 20-30 range. it’s perfect time of year for it too.

Honestly if you get out of the Cabs and Pinot Noirs of the world you’ll find some great values red and white

I’m not a wine guy but even I know that the list of good wines for sub 120 is pretty damn extensive

Same here. I too am not a wine guy but I do know some folks that are into it and they spend nowhere near that kind of money on a single bottle of wine with $30-40 being their top price.
