My high school (in the 80's) had one of those Civil Defense bomb shelters as the basement. There was still tons of stuff there (in the 80's). Including hundreds of 30 gallon drums that had some kind of hard candy in them. The lid also converted to a toilet, so when the candy was gone you could poop in the barrel.
