Smith was the only big miss - Clyde was better than Etienne and Bolden wasn’t going to play much.

If we get smith we probably don’t take Jefferson. Everything worked out. This years WR class is loaded too....can’t take them all.

Bolden
Tell me why again we didn't offer a scholarship to Bolden?

He's not from Amite and his family can probably afford to buy him his own Charger.

Looks like he has the talent to be at LSU.

Another Ed O recruiting mistake.......

Our defense looks way different with Moses, Harris and Allen...It’s not just offense...

They did offer him a scholarship. Canada did a terrible job of recruiting him

But they don’t come back for senior years if they come to LSU. Bama has a culture built on finishing the job and commitment to the team, LSU focuses on 3 and out.

Let's say that there are 5 top 100 high school running backs from Louisiana. It's not realistic to think that LSU is going to lock down all of them, or even half of them,

The question should be who will make the better pro running back, Edwards-Helaire or Etienne. So we'll need to wait and see how Etienne does in the NFL.

Edwards-Helaire had an impressive season as a rookie.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire is a better running back than Travis Etienne.

Is CEH going to play in the playoffs or is he done for the year?

Clyde was a fallback after we missed on Akers and were too late on Etienne. It ended up working out, but Etienne was definitely a miss (as was Akers).

So, getting OOS players should be frowned upon?

For every Moses there's an Adams, Sophser a Key, etc, etc
