I see the RA and I ignored it

I am not sure what Tejas thinks happens if the RA button is pressed

Someone threatening him with the RA button is either trolling him or ignorant

1. Medicare. I believe in universal healthcare and I believe that America as a country is better than what we have now. Insurance is a leech and taking them out of the system entirely, and getting rid of inflated medical costs, will be for the benefit of everyone.
2. Taxes. Look at this graph of how tax rates have changed over time. Look very carefully at the x-axis. I'd like to go back to when America was Great in the 50s and 60s and the very, very wealthy were taxed at a reasonable rate.
3. His trade policies break from most establishment Democrats in being for the benefit of working Americans, not the corporations that employ them.

Fantastic. Please stay around. I don't have the time this afternoon to debate these points but I would absolutely love to. I can't wait to see how, for example, you plan to come close to paying for number 1 or what your total cost estimate is, or what government agency you see as run so efficiently and fairly you'd happily trust your life to it, or why you think number 2 is justifiable in any way.

Did anything happen?

I mean I read your drivel about companies getting relief funds, made fun of its stupidity and moved on. Saw no one threatening you for posting something so stupid

Sure, I have in depth responses for (and specifically expected and am often challenged with) all of those points but wouldn't want to derail this thread too much. I also need to prepare for D&D in an hour and haven't built the dungeon yet...

Hopefully a chance comes up in a relevant thread.

That’s quite a surprise given they are diametrically opposite and completely incompatible.

I am also trying to figure out how you justify being a libertarian while supporting government controlled Medicare for all without insurance companies and extreme taxes on the wealthy.

Why do you folks keep asking these questions when you know full well that I can be banned for answering them?

This forum gives its posters the most freedom. It is very hard for a poster to get banned on here. No Matter which side of the political spectrum they are.

You do realize that an admin about four posts above this one not only told you nothing was going to happen, but is also confused as to why you think something is going to happen?

Ok. I was banned for more than a month for “trolling.” None of my posts were removed. My last posts had to do with me mistakenly reading that the Dow after-hours trading was going way up, when it was actually going down. When I pointed out that “oh yeah, it’s going down, isn’t it,” it must have sounded as though I was slamming the President or something.

I was recently warned that “it sounds like you’re trolling again. Take your lockdown cheerleading elsewhere” in a discussion about the legalities of lockdowns. Posters called me every name in the book and I did get a little snippy, but I was having a factual discussion.

Online on Roll20. It sucks and it's nothing like playing in person. I'm eager to get back to IRL. We are in Phase 1 of reopening but none of the players feel comfortable enough to meet up yet.

To answer you and turbeauxdog's question briefly, which is another common question, medicine has to be treated differently because profit absolutely cannot enter the equation in life or death situations. Just like profit-seeking ruins media, it ruins healthcare. I don't agree with free college because college is a privilege, not a right, and if prices get too high people just won't go to college (unless the government wastes money subsidizing them). When the alternative is death for themselves or their loved ones, the price people are willing to pay has almost no ceiling. If there is another solution that removes profit from the equation I am happy to hear it. As for efficiency, Medicare is run pretty damn well. It is the truth that we spend more per patient on healthcare for less results, even compared to countries with universal healthcare (and not just the bad ones, the good ones too), and a lot of that goes into a black hole of profit. I can elaborate more at another time.

Bernie is on the libertarian side of the auth/lib axis in any source on political axes that you can find. Do not confuse the libertarian left quadrant with what people commonly know as "Libertarians" such as Ron Paul or Gary Johnson, which are the libertarian right.

My ban came later that day. It’s odd that you were able to pinpoint that.

Yep. Never RA’d you though. Your transformation is clear to anyone paying attention though.

But at its roots, this is a SEC board. I just can’t understand why you people don’t shite on your own big 12 boards.

For example, I do not seek out FSU boards and shite on them. But, people are weird.

I don’t personally like how many left leaning posters get banned on here.

You’re a douche but you don’t deserve to be banned.
