this is the one thing I don’t understand about people.
They expect all the in state guys to just come to LSU. What about all the out of state studs that we get?
Did Stevens spurns Tennessee? Key spurn Georgia? Chaisson and Delpit and Jamal spurn Texas or Texas A&M?

Never been so mad about recruiting than when I was watching the 2014 UA All-American game. I thought Tony Brown was a lock and I’ve hated his guts ever since that curse word came out of his mouth. Speedy Noil made me furious. Gerald Willis’ commitment to UF made me hate him and Landon Collins even more. But landing Jamal Adams after considering him a TAMU lean was big. Fournette made me extremely nervous, but it ended well. In hindsight, the kids we got were the best in that group for sure.

Right on. My favorite people are the guys that blame the coaches for not landing a kid. After stories and stories and stories of the kid being recruited hard by LSU all year, the kid decides to go somewhere else. That’s a decision left to the kid. The coaching staff can’t MAKE a kid commit to LSU but in the end, it’s somehow someone else’s fault that they wanted to leave.
