That’s a no for me dawg… not sure why any regular traveler would do this. Maybe something in missing

I wouldn't use their portal except to get the $300 back against the fee. So probably for a rental car. Then the 10,000 points you get every year offsets the rest.

What you're left with is 2x earning everywhere. The benefit there is using this card when other cards only earn 1/1.5x.

And while limited, the Capital One Lounges are supposedly actually usable.

You'll just have to decide if the point diversification is useful or not. I've been on the fence for awhile.
