Looking for a new Mexican restaurant to try out. Which place is your favorite?

** I apologize for not reading your whole thread before I got excited as it is lunch time-- Not located in BR area.... **
This fine establishment is located in Jennings, La. Food is delicious and staff is very friendly. 11/10, would recommend.
Nice size Koi pond located in front and its usually 85 degrees inside so dress light.

What kind of Mexican? Like TexMex? Or traditional Mexican?

I don't know what the best one is. I'm a fan of El Rancho out on Florida.

The place on Siegen Ln. across from Rooms to Go.
Not even sure it has a name other than “Supermercado y Taqueria”. No English spoken, no English on the menu.

Went to Modesto tonight and it was excellent. Great flavor on their adobo chicken enchiladas. Also got their steak tampiquena and it was super tender and juicy.
I like Blue Corns Margs the best. Also have great skirt steak.
Superior is only good for their fajitas and margs. Their garlic butter sauce with the Crazy Javier is one of my favorite dishes.

Definitely Blue Corn for us.
Tacos - Birria & Barbacoa de Chivo Los Compadre's - I hope they open back up soon.

Tio Javi’s. The service is insane, food is always out in 15 minutes

I have a good friend who is from Mexico. He says the best Mexican food he’s gotten in the US is at El Limon on Jones Creek

I would put Blue Corn at the top for quality, but my favorite is Tio Javi's just for the gallon of green salsa I will consume before my entree.

Los Reyes on Coursey. They also have a location on Lee across from Mike Anderson’s. I’ve never ordered anything off their menu I didn’t like. Quesadillas, Tacos and Fajitas are very good! They also serve good Margs and the Happy Hour is excellent!
