How is this Constitutional?

Congress passed laws in the civil rights era to combat Jim Crow laws regarding elections. Southern states now have to get their gerrymandering approved by the federal government, to this day, all these years later. It's constitutional because congress passed it, the president signed it, it is law.

It was a 5-3 ruling. Trump should have put Southerners like Bill Pryor, Andrew Brasher and Keith Blackwell on SCOTUS instead of a bunch of Yankees. The current court is not as conservative as it could be.

Congress passing bills and the president signing them into law does not automatically make them constitutional.

So what you are really telling me is the constitutionality of the law Congress passed and the President signed has not been challenged.

I pray this receives a challenge soon.
