Since End Game and COVID they've gone the route of over saturating the market with different story lines and DEI. There's been no clear path with the overall timeline as of yet and it's led to a lot of shite movies. The following is some stories that they've begun, but due to contracts and time may not be able to pull in

- Doctor Strange: He has his third eye and is supposed to fight in this dark universe. May just have to cut this character out forever or just bring him in during large movies and forget the end of MoM.

- Black Panther: Ryan Coogler had the main character die in the middle of writing and he did the best he could with the character title of the movie not being present. Find a way to bring back Michael B. Jordan as Black Panther and profit

- Marvels: Stop doing marvel movies. The best part was the post credit scene and now we have a parallel xmen universe

- Eternals: Just scrap it. Move on

- Thor 4: His story is so far separated from everything else. Could just ignore it and bring him in when there's a team up

Marvel needs to get away from off world happenings in my opinion. The world they've built since End Game is just too large and no one cares. They need to tie up some of the avenger characters they have and slowly introduce an Xmen character in each of those films. Just stay on Earth essentially.

Black Panther: Bring Michael B. Jordan back for this film and introduce the Storm character

Captain America: There's a rumor that Disney + has a series where Cap brings the stones back to the original timeline. Pull Wolverine and Magneto into that.

Captain Marvel: Finish it out and bring Rogue into it

Spiderman: This is tough because he's been off world now. Do a trilogy with him in college and make it only on Earth and hit the greats. Save venom for a second trilogy. First trilogy has Osborn and it ties into the Dark Avengers they have set up

Marvel needs to make the Avengers second tier and focus on Xmen and Fantastic 4 to make their next push

I think it’s pretty much done. You’re not going to one up the Infinity Saga.

Me too. They tried twice and missed the mark both times with two really good actors.

Maybe the third time is the charm....as long as they don't insist on forcing She-Hulk into it.

I think it was a very good run but now they have almost all their characters again. It makes you wonder how good previous stories could be with the full helm in place.

For instance Logan with fox could have been way better under the MCU. It feels like they may be doing parts of the Old Man Logan comic in the new Deadpool movie.

Neither of them were done by the Mouse and they don’t have the rights to do a standalone Hulk movie.

Marvels and Eternals sequels have already been cancelled. I have a feeling we might see Captain Marvel do a few cameos later but those franchises are over. We'll never see any mention of the Eternals again.

Stay true to the source material with the best stories. Get away from all the girl power BS. Jeremy Renner had a terrible accident, and Hailey Steinfeld is a good actress. That's about the only re-casting that I don't have a problem with.

Iron-Man - girl
Black Panther - girl
Hulk - girl
Hawkeye - girl
Ant-Man - girl
Silver Surfer - girl
All unnecessary, with the exception of Renner's accident. I'm probably forgetting a few, too.

We don't need an Echo series. We don't need She-Hulk. We don't need Elektra. Give us the same gritty Daredevil we got from Netflix, and make The Defenders part of that show instead of having multiple other shows to watch unless the quality is going to be just as good(Jessica Jones) and not a pain in the arse to watch(Luke Cage/Iron Fist).

Disney has ruined Star Wars with all the girl power already. They need to get back on track with that property, too.

Marvel (just like Star Wars) has an oversaturation problem. They made it to where you needed to see every movie and show to fully understand everything that is happening on the grand scale. Sure you can watch any individual movie and understand that plot but to really follow the larger story you need to see them all. The issue with this is it makes it very daunting for non die hards to follow. Also when you make a million movies and shows that correlate with each other, its impossible to make them all good. They should have hung it up after End Game. Anything coming after will always be sub par to the original 20 movies and shows.

They need to put a gay, diverse woman in it, and make her fricking LAME.

It doesn't.

It had an incredible run until it was usurped by political ideology, directed by shitty directors, written by shitty writers, and flooded with worse CGI than The Phantom Menace.

I don't think you'll see anything like the Infinity saga, but saying it's dead is silly. There's still demand for some of these films. Deadpool, for example, will be massive.

Marvel just can't half-arse it anymore, they need quality films. The days of audiences showing up to just any MCU film are done.

The answer is a key character that everyone can hover around that connect stories together, that acts as the emotional lynchpin for everything that happens. That audiences can see the purpose in.

As much as I like Cap for being the heart, that answer was Tony Stark. He was a bold enough character that you could really center the universe around. That with a big story attached is the formula.

There are only a few characters like that in the comic books with really good stories to draw from.

So clearly the only answer is....

Cyclops

And Yes I am serious. Outside of a few characters, he has one of the best overall story arcs as the center of the X-Men. From Hero to Savior to Villain. He's compelling if done right. Rather than a Cap - his balance is easily Wolverine. And yes you recast that.

Boom done.

I’m going to see Deadpool and I will probably go see Spider-Man 4 if it’s ever released, but that’s basically it.
