Russia's new offensive gained momentum Wednesday around Ukraine's second-largest city, the latest gut punch for Kyiv as it struggles to contain this new front in the war following delays in crucial military aid from the United States.

Even as Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited the country to reassure it of allied support and announced a new $2 billion arms deal, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy canceled all upcoming foreign trips — a signal of how seriously the country is taking the advancing Russian military.

Ukraine's army said it had withdrawn some of its forces from more areas around the crucial northeastern city of Kharkiv, while local officials said Russian troops had taken up positions inside the key front-line town of Vovchansk.

It’s part of a new, armored assault launched by Russia last week, which risks stretching Ukraine's army to breaking point. And Kyiv fears Moscow may also be massing troops for new border incursions elsewhere.

Wonder how many people have flipped to TeamRussia now that we all know the Ukraine money is merely a grift, their ruler is an authoritarian and their own people don't even want to fight this war anymore.

I'm in that camp and hope Russia makes them bend sooner than later to bankrupt our crooked politicians benefiting from this war.

Oh. I’m glad this rotten cock sucker if taking the Russian military seriously. Just out of curiosity was it not being taken seriously when we printed him half a trillion dollars?

This conflict has been a fascinating study on what information sources to believe.

The sooner Russia takes the country, the better. It'll inevitably happen and we’re wasting money propping Ukraine up.

No worries. Blinken will get amped up on the front lines with more Neil Young to end this war. After another $100 billion of course.

That was mostly the last payout for the military industrial complex players that were promised a part of the "redevelopment" (looting) of Ukraine after the Russian defeat.

After watching Blinken yesterday, nothing is ending under this administration. They are all in to keep the money flowing.
