I remember in my dif-eq class a long time ago we derived the Malthusian model for population growth. I believe it still stands. With the current birth and growth rate and resources we will reach a maximum global population of 12.5 billion around 2060. At 12.5 billion we will level off.
The problem with leveling off, socialist and communists monetary schemes like Social Security don't work.

Makes sense. When you don't have an objective source for morality through God's moral law, you become a law unto yourself. If your law says that humans are just more complex amoebas with no inherent value and rights from God, then human life can be snuffed out for "the greater good", which is essentially arbitrary goals for individuals applied at the societal level.
