Re pop parts are cheap online. This time it only cost me a couple hundred. Mileage is getting on up there, but I’m gonna keep driving it until it goes.

Do you live in St. Francisville? Possibly off Angola Rd? I only ask, because I'm in the collision repair industry and have many customers in that area with similar stories. I've fixed one couples vehicles 7 times(multiple different vehicles), and they have all been animal hits.

no one, this sounds like operator error. Pay attention to the dang road and put your phone down.

No. A bit more north. I’ve never claimed any of these. Parts are cheap and I do my own work. Yet another curse of growing up in a mechanic/body shop.

Actually sounds like you are a good driver, because you’re still driving the same car. Good job not panicking and killing your self. If you are using insurance every time this happens you could get cancelled. I’d try the animal warning sirens or something like that.

Its not that I have to, I chose to. Why have another note when this one goes A to B and back just fine? That’s all it is. Back and forth to work. A pos Altima with a bunch of miles that runs and drives just fine. I have other vehicles for other things. I could go buy whatever I wanted right now, but I’ve grown out of my “gotta have it to be cool” stage along time ago.

You were driving 548 miles per day on average for years?

Press X to doubt.

Give or take, yeap. A better average would have been 150k to 200k a year. Not hard when you criss cross the country back and forth. Drive 20 hrs for a 12 hr job, sometimes a couple days, just to drive back across for another. Did it for almost 10 years.

In my experience these things are something like 10,000x more likely to happen to you within the 2-3 week period after getting body work done to your car. Hasn't happened to me in years, but I am sure it is just a matter of time.
