Yep, much like fashion or awards shows, appearances are now labeled as a "show of support" for POTUS Trump. The drama known as "DC" continues.

Perhaps it’s more than simply a show of support for Trump, but also a statement against unjust trials being used against political opponents

He's anything but a dummy. Smart as frick and conservative AF. I have been disappointed with him lately but I know him well enough to still have some optimism that some of the moves he's made recently were to maintain/secure party and America First power in Congress. Otherwise, WTF. We'll find out in due time.
My hunch is that Dems and the TDS uniparty RINO wing of the GOPe realize they cannot cheat as blatantly and easily as they did in 2020 and Trump is likely going to win the 2024 election... So the uniparty establishment is making moves by getting certain GOP Congress people to resign or not seek re-election in purple districts to get a Dem/uniparty majority in Congress that will serve as backstop to neuter another Trump White House. I am 99.9% sure Johnson knows this--and knows much more about it than we do--and it is what he is trying to thwart. We'll see. I hope that is what is really going on.
