Zion absolutely needs to find a way to become more effective off the ball or he will never reach his potential. Imagine if he could have hit some of those wide-open threes he was given all year. Imagine if he could provide some spacing on his own, then you could develop a more balanced roster.

Zion needs to improve for sure but let’s not act like he wasn’t dropping his fricking nutsack on LeBron AND AD in the play in game.

Guess those games at the beginning of the season didn't count in the standing. Those games where Z was completely out of shape and failed to run back on defense. Do you remember Sir Charles counted the number of time Z hustled to cross the half court line. In case you forgot, it was zero. It took Sir Charles to motivate Z.

Z lacks basic basketball skills. He doesn't work on his game during the off-season. He cannot shoot ten feet from the rim.Yes he can be a human highlight reel like the game against the Lakers. His game is one dimensional in half court. Look how his lack of skills impact JV. Z clogs the middle not Jonas and not Brandon. Not forget Brandon takes more three pointers than Z.

He absolutely was. He looked amazing in the last month before the injury. I still think he hasn't reached his potential. For all the complaints about BI not shooting 3s, Zion shoots less. There have absolutely been games where Zion was either defended or refereed (or both) in a way that takes him out of his game. When those drives are taken away from him, he disappears.

Again, this got better toward the end of the year when he was clearly quicker (and lighter). However, EVERY superstar in the NBA in the 2020s takes and hits 3s, even centers. That is a clear place that Zion can improve his game. Being lighter should also help clean up his jumper.

But but BI had two good games against the Suns three years ago!
