Like I said, I'm all for them and the right to free speech. I just don't understand having a protest at a random college town for something that is occurring 6,000 miles away. If they want to protest, go to DC where policy is made.

The college protests didn't start as a way to change government policy, though I'm sure the students would like that. The students started them as protests against the way the their schools are investing their money. The Columbia students want Columbia University to change their policies, so protesting on campus makes sense for that.
