My first two kids are less than 2-years apart. The jump from 1 to 2 has been hard, but I'd say the transition is somewhat easier than going from 0 to 1. I think the transition will be harder on your first child because they will no longer be the center of attention all the time. The biggest factors for us in surviving have been:
- Maintaining as much of a daily routine as possible
- Leverage any and all help from family and friends to watch kids
- Refocus yourself mentally (be willing to sacrifice hobbies such as not attending every LSU sporting event, reduce alcohol intake, and play more with the kids)

I've been doing everything possible to minimize stress and block out outside noise that might impact my ability to give my family my 100%. Granted, I find myself on TD a lot more these days, but that's more so keep my sanity than anything else. If you've figured out one, you'll figure out number 2. Just wait until the two little bastards starts scheming up on you. You'll have your hands full then.
