Are you insinuating in your fake scenario that this made up family is not also on multiple other forms of government assistance?

The family in your scenario can easily qualify for $500 per month cash and $800 per month in food stamps, on top of Section 8 housing, utility assistance, cell phone assistance, free healthcare.

bullshite. They have all manner of other handouts. This program only started a few years ago. Were kids dying of starvation before then? Are the kids in the 5 states that don't participate dying of starvation in significant numbers?
