re: Parents, it matters where you send your kids to college

You decide on a college based on many factors, but ranking within your major should be the focus. Unless you are going into a STEM field going to a private university is most likely a waste of money. Why spend 60,000 plus a year to be a teacher when you can go to LSU for peanuts if you have half decent grades in high school?
