Funny story of the lone palm tree that Ted Scott loves to tell is the 2014 Masters practice round on Tuesday...Bubba, Webb Simpson and Zach Johnson . Paul Tessori tells group walking down 1 fairway about a bet he had with his fiancé..if she could find the lone palm tree on course he would buy her the $30,000 ring she was desiring. Well dam if Bubba doesn't hit a wayward drive on that hole on purpose of course...and yells where she could hear that the dam palm tree got in the way of his drive...she was seen jumping up and down all excitied that she saw the palm tree...much to Tessori's dismay..well Bubba tries to smooth things out...he proposed that if he, Webb or Zach won the tournament that they should purchase the ring for Tessori which Webb n Zach said BS...they proposed that if Bubba won he would pay for ring since he ruined the bet. Well Bubba wins..at the next 2 stops( Heritage and Zurich) Tessori asked Bubba about payment...he say's checks in the mail...3rd stop is Wells Fargo..Bubba's wife hears about the bet and bubba's lack of payment...She personally delivered the check to Tessori on the putting green on Wednesday before tournament started.
