LSU head coach Brian Kelly spoke with reporters on Monday and said that wide receivers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. will play in the Reliaquest Bowl vs. Wisconsin.

Both Nabers and Thomas Jr. are expected to be first-round draft picks.

Kelly added that quarterback Jayden Daniels is the only player opting out of the bowl game outside of the transfers in the portal.

Ain't Thomas close to Chase's TD record...2 or 3 shy?

They are playing for Nuss. He has been a great teammate this season and deserves one game with 1st team.

Labors is playing to break the record! If they wouldn't have flagged Lacy that last game, Labors would have the record and he would have opted out as well. Not sure why Thomas is playing, but I doubt that is the reason.

Throw the first play of the game to Malik and let him get out of the game healthy with the record. Then let BTJr eat the rest of the game as the WR1 and hopefully improve his draft stock a few places. The difference in being a 22-25th pick and a 30-35th is large.
