So in case you missed it, the diving pool at the Rio Olympics turned green on Tuesday when algae entered the water. Yep, green. Per Fox News...

Rio spokesman Mario Andrada said the green was caused "by a proliferation of algae."

"This was because of heat and a lack of wind," he said. "We did all the chemical tests.”

If I remember correctly the 1980 Moscow games had the diving competition at a lake. We didn't participate so news was sketchy but pretty sure it was a friggin lake.
