she's been around enough to know the cameras are always on, so she can't let this happen. I was actually surprised she came back to these Olympics after winning the gold last time. Gymnastics is VERY hard to do when you get a bit older. I thought she should've retired and gone out on top.

Maybe the attitude is because she's the 3rd best gymnast in the world but couldn't compete for a medal because #1 and #2 are both from her team. Bronze medal is meaningless in that system.

She isn't even the 3rd best in the world... 2nd and 3rd is between Raisman and Hernandez. Raisman is probably the better All-Around gymnast but Hernandez did beat her at Trials this year. Gabby finished 7th at the US Trials and probably didn't deserve a spot. She was only on the team for her scores on Bars which was the only place they used her.
