World Cup Champion Carli Lloyd Crushes 55-Yard Field Goal At Eagles Practice

Love how everyone is breaking down her kick like you are on NFL films. She isn't trying out for the team. She is just messing around and having fun. It's was an impressive kick.

Helluva good kick. Strong leg on her. But *whomp whomp*, sorry, it's blocked most of the time in a live game situation. No time for a 5-yard running start, especially for a 55-yard FG with a low trajectory.

Awesome female athlete. Just goes to show you how good those guys are. She is one of a handful of top females in the world and still can't compete with the men. But I read somewhere that it was sexist if I said that so forget I mentioned it.

Give me that much of a running start and at least 5 tries and I promise you I could at least kick it forward 15 yards once.

If she takes that many steps in a real game, she's getting blocked.

Believe most of these soccer "women" are close to being men anyway. However, studies and actual matches show that when they play boys soccer teams age 14 and older that it's not competitive anymore, so they have to schedule 13 and younger boys.

It’s encouraging to see so many “enlightened” males denigrate the skills she demonstrated in that clip.

Looked like a stutter and 3 steps on the first kick. She has the leg to hit 55 yards. I'd imagine she could develop the footwork without much difficulty. 55 yards is strong no matter how you slice it. Looked like it could have cleared 60.

With that running start it doesn’t mean much. Great female athlete for sure, just not a good comparison for an NFL kicker.

NFL kickers usually kick from more than 55 yards in practice...

Kicking has been terrible in the college and NFL game for years now. She could easily kick in the NFL right now with that leg. Im surprised a woman kicker hasn't been in an NFL camp to be honest.
