Baylor D.C.: "We Could've Beaten Alabama"

It amazes me that people keep talking about Tx A&M as if they are the conference champion or something. Reality is they beat Bama, that's all. THey are 5th in the conference right now and 3rd in the West. Against the top 3 teams they played in the SEC, they are 1-2. They are good, but they aren't outstanding. I guess people are just trying to grab hold of something that makes them think they can hang with the SEC.

I remember when Phil was LSU's DC, he did a pretty good job with what he had to work with. He had a similar tirade after the jamie howard interception clinic at Auburn in the early 90's. Phils a quality coach.

I could be wrong, but aren't they like 6th in the conference? When all the dust settles they will be more of like a Miss State, middle of the pack with some flashes of moderate success. And, Mizzou will be like Ole Miss, they will get there hype but it will always be "it just wasn't our year".
