“Steve Spurrier named it the Swamp I believe in the 90’s, it’s very hot. Gainesville is obviously right in the center of the state. Not a whole lot of air circulates in the center of the state of Florida, especially early in the season. It is so hot.
Only Gators get out alive, is what Steve Spurrier said. The fans, the student body is incredible. The fans are out of their damn minds. When we had that thing going, a night game in the Swamp was second to none.”
