While the XFL gets reimagined to make a comeback, the Alliance of American Football (AAF) is picking up steam and catching the interest of one former SEC coach. 72-year-old Steve Spurrier told Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel on Tuesday that the AAF has reached out to him to coach, and he's interested...

“I can’t talk a lot about it,” Spurrier said. “It sounds like an interesting and intriguing format and could be a lot of fun. I’m fired up about it, and we’ll see what happens. But I do have an interest.”
The AAF was founded by Charlie Ebersol, who is the son of legendary broadcaster and NBC executive Dick Ebersol and will be more a branch to the NFL with games being played during the spring and end in April.
