ESPN's Peter Thamel is reporting that Oklahoma and Texas will likely not be able to leave the Big 12 a year early and will join the SEC in 2025.

Thamel cites negotiations between the Big 12, the two schools, and TV Networks Fox and ESPN as the primary roadblock.

Good! Keep them OUT! Neither brings anything extra to the conference, besides most existing SEC teams kicking their asses :-)!

No reason at all for this move, the schools are trash and the delaying only further supports that

Tennessee brought nothing to the table for the last 2 decades but we let you stay in the conference and steal SEC checks.. You can't see past your nose if you don't think these 2 schools will bring anything to the conference

They need to stay in the big 12, and give them back Mizzou and atm while you’re at it.
