Where to stay in Telluride?
Posted by DarthRebel on 1/24/20 at 2:14 pm00
we have moved our search from Beaver Creek to looking at Telluride.
Is it better to stay in town or the Mountain Village?
Any hotel suggestions, would prefer to be able to walk to lifts.

obviously telluride is at the bottom of the slope and mountain village at the top. the gondola runs constantly between them
theres not much to do in mountain village its kind of sterile. telluride is much more fun

Stay close to Brown Dog Pizza and spend all your time there

Would think the back seat would be most comfortable.
Thank you, I'll be here all week.

In town for sure. Easy access to the slopes and where all the restaurants/bars are

I once lived in the Fall Line Condos...it’s a great location. I’m sure there are much newer accommodations, that was 1995.
Baked in Telluride is very close.
Check out that location, and everything closer to those two lifts. There aren’t any greens that go down into the town, pretty much all black.

Stay in town and just gondola up to mountain village to ski.
Sheridan hotel is right in the thick of the strip. Lots of houses & condos to rent as well.

yup, Looking like renting a condo might be the cheapest route in town.

Telluride is sick. My favorite ski town.

Telluride and Cheap should never be used in same sentence... tbs stay downtown if you venture out after dark..
