Where to stay in LA

Going to LA with the wife at the end of May. Gonna catch a dodgers game and the rest is what she wants to do. She is hell bent on going to Sur (Vanderpump restaurant) and I’m looking for recommendations on what area to stay in? West Hollywood, Hollywood, or Beverly Hills area? Or neither?

Santa Monica on the water front is great IMO for a touristy stay. Ive stayed at Oceana twice with wife and loved the area

Out of the 3 in the OP, I’d rank them Beverly Hills, weho, then by far last choice, Hollywood.
Also agree that Santa Monica would be better than all 3.

Stay out of Hollywood proper. All of LA is a shithole, but Hollywood is especially a shithole.
Beverly of those three choices for sure. Have you considered Santa Monica or even out towards Fullerton/Anaheim (if you are willing to drive/Uber)
