What is a good tour/tour company for Bangkok?

Maybe a 4-6 hour tour one day and maybe a 6-8 hr tour the next.
Some of the sites we are curious to see:
-laying Buddha temple
-floating market
-train market
-boat trip up/down river
-river kwai bridge
If anyone has suggestions on companies or locations to see, that would be great. If you think certain location is overrated, please list also.

You're overdoing it if you're trying to hit all those in two days.
The bridge is something like 3/4 hours west of Bangkok in Kanchanaburi, near where Erawan Falls is.
The floating market you're probably thinking of is about an hour away and the train market about 2 to the South.
How many days do you have to work with?
With Bangkok traffic just heading to old Bangkok and hitting those temples and riding on the river can kill a day.
Couple pro tips I suppose.
1) Use the BTS. When you use it, don't use the one use self service machines at rush (or any) hour. Lines get long with tourists and stuff who don't know what they are doing. Just go to the manned booth and buy a multi use "rabbit" card.
2) getting a guide at a place like the Grand Palace will let you skip the line there too.

Also, download the "Grab" app. It's basically their Uber, but cheap as hell.

I’ve used grab over there. Just hop on a bike and you’re good to go. I think uber waived the white flag to grab in SEA.

The floating market was a tourist trap to me and I hated it.

BTS is a skytrain? I google it and also saw ARL, MRT, BRT. What is this "rabbit" card?

Yes BTS is the sky train and MRT is the subway.
ARL is the airport rail link.
The rabbit card is like an NYC metro card. You preload it with whatever amount and then hold it to the sensor to get on the train.
Believe me, you may walk up to BTS when it isn't busy and buy the one time use at the self serve kiosks, but you'll thank me later when you hit the platform at rush hour that you have your rabbit card.
Also, just for a little fun be at the BTS or Chatuchak Market or other public place around 6pm. Just neat.

We are staying central grand plaza. That should be walking distance to the market right?
Posted on 6/30/18 at 10:01 pm to PeteRose
Centara Grand at Central Plaza? Ya looks walkable.
But besides Chatuchak I definitely recommend the BTS at Mo Chit for going into town.
If you're there on the weekend it'll likely be a busy station since that's when Chatuchak is hopping and the station everyone uses.

If you want to get weird and are in the sukhumvit area, go walk down Soi 4.
Tip, don't go home with any "ladies"

What was the pad Thai place you went?
Was it Thipsamai Pad Thai?

Yeah that was it. They're famous for their orange juice as well.
My gf's cousin who lives there and brought us said it isn't quite what it used to be since they got very popular, but still some of the best Pad Thai in the city.

I'm sure I won't be able to tell
Thanks for the confirmation. My buddy and I have been to Bangkok before so we're just doing whatever with the couple days we're there with no pressure.
ETA: I seriously just spent 4 hours on Google maps locating one of the karaoke bars Gosling walked out of in Only God Forgives
