I am driving through Knoxville Friday night/Saturday am and wanted to walk the campus with my dog.

Good path? things to make sure we walk around etc?

Hate to tell your dog, but they hired Pruitt so there won't be an interview. No one called to cancel?

Edited to add an actual contribution: try second creek Greenway LINK

went to school there.. Drive down cumberland where Cumberland turns into Kingston Pike. About 2-3 miles on the left you will see a street called Cherokee Blvd. Awesome street with bad arse houses, etc.

anyways, drive down Cherokee and about 3 miles or so on the left is a small park on the river that is a cool spot to hang out. People bring their dogs, throw frisbees, etc at this park that overlooks the river

its literally 10 mins max from campus

Sequoyah Park

I wouldn't waste my time, I drove through last Friday. Knoxville is a shite hole. You will see when you drive through. You may change your mind about stopping all together.
