Anyone have comments on Unico 2087 in Riviera Maya?

Yes, went in september of 20. Covid was still affecting service a little bit but im sure its fine now. 3 really good restaurants on property and a nice size beach area and pool. Pretty much any room on bottom floor has a swim up pool. About an hour ride from Cancun airport. Overall great spot id give it an 8/10

I had a different experience there than the other poster. My wife and I love Cancun but Unico was not a good experience for us. It was during Covid so maybe that can be the blame for some of it. Night life was nonexistent they had a show or two for the entire week we were there. The food was so bland. We ran into other people at the resort that said the same thing. Food looked five star and tasted like a two star. The beach/pool service was horrible and we aren’t even people to expect to be waited on.

Dang sorry to hear. The one or two times we sat by the pool I will say the service was terrible. But beachside, we had a great server the whole week. Nightlife wasnt much there but we arent the type to stay out late at resorts like that so cant say much on that. Had a few couple friends go there since we went and few complaints but mostly good reviews. We also spent a whole day out doing a diving trip and went into town and saw some ruins. Wouldnt need more than 3 days there

Stayed here recently for a wedding. The rooms and resort are nice, the beach is subpar.
Admittedly we’re not AI people but figured the food would be at least decent for what the rooms cost. It was awful, inedible in many cases. I would look elsewhere.
