Is Uber in Orlando? We will be headed to disney and staying nearby at a non-Disney resort.

Are cabs and Uber allowed near Disney or do they force you to use shuttles?

Understand shuttles to be $10 a head? Is this correct?

Yes, Uber is in Orlando. I used it there last week.

I'm fairly certain you can use cabs and Uber at Disney.

Thanks. Would you say uber was priced higher? We will be going during an off peak December time.

Just wondering if uber pricing was higher in Orlando? To match Disney pricing?

I've only used Uber in downtown Orlando but I've definitely seen Uber picking and dropping people off outside of Epcot this past spring. I would still assume the prices are better than a taxi but I have no idea, the prices were very cheap for Orlando.

Is there not a way that one can look up where Uber is available?

Not sure if it pertains to you or not, but I got an email a while back about Uber family coming to Orlando.

Uber family is Uber driving service with car seats for families with young children. Pretty cool concept.

when you go to uber.com, there is a tab at the very top that says "find a location".

We use Uber quite a bit while in Disney. It's much easier to get from one resort to another that way. We also take Uber from our Disney resort to Universal when we are visiting "the dark side". It is generally much cheaper than taxis and much faster than the shuttles. One tip, take a bus/walk to the nearest resort and get picked up there. Less traffic and usually faster/cheaper. Example, walk across the street to the Contemporary from Magic Kingdom as only Disney buses are allowed there. Or you could be picked up/ dropped off at the TTC. I would go with getting dropped off at the Comtempo though.
