Planning a quick 4-5 day trip in mid-March?
Been to Grand Cayman but not T&C.
Anyone been to both with a clear preference for one over the other?

If you been to one go to the other. No reason to go to the same spot.

I would personally pick T & C over Grand Cayman every time.

Kind of thinking same thing...ie trying somewhere new. Plus, wasn’t really a fan of GC.
Simply looking for quick 4-5 day beach trip direct from Houston to somewhere with a nice beach, a main town, restaurants, etc.
St John used to be the go-to place until the hurricane.

St. John has recovered quickly. Sure, Zozo's won't be back (thanks Congress) but nearly everything else is open for business.
If you want beach then Grace Bay Beach on Providenciales is difficult to beat.

T&C, without question. Not all that close, IMO. Nothing wrong with GC, but TCI is really special.

St. John is back up and running. Was there in early January.

Been to T&C and it's beaches and food are amazing. St John has amazing beaches, more scenery due to mountains and amazing food.
I don't think you could go wrong with either, but, in my opinion St John would get the nod over T&C.
