Hello, we are traveling to Cayman Islands for vacation is May or June.
Does anyone have recs on where to stay? Is all inclusive worth it or better booking separate? Air bnb or hotel/resort?
Cost really isn’t much of a factor. I’m prepared to spend 5k for 4-5 day trip.

The Ritz was amazing when we went 4 years ago. My parents had gone the year before and stayed at another hotel down the beach and ended up canceling after the first night and booked the rest of the trip there. Not sure what their first hotel was.
They have awesome scuba diving relatively close by you can go through the hotel.

We booked a house in the Northside area of the island from this site when we went a few years ago. It was perfect. Had our own beach, great snorkeling 20 yards out in the water, and it was quiet and somewhat secluded. 5-10 minute drive to Rum Point for more action.

I've never done All-Inclusive, there 's too much to see for me there to stay on one property.
Out of the three hotels I've stayed in there, the Ritz is nice, then the Marriott and Westin (tie) are well-behind it.
Ristoranti Pappagallo is nice, it's up on the North Point by the lighthouse.
Get a car and drive around the Coast Road all the way to Rum Point.
Tukka (link) is a Australian-Caribbean fusion restaurant on the SE Coast.
Vivine's Kitchen nearby is good as well, it's in a converted house. Only had Lunch there but it's always been good. I get Lunch there on my way off the island.
Kurts Korner for eats on Frank Sound Road is good too, authentic and spartan.
I enjoyed walking through the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Park
Snorkel or dive while you are there, the USS Kittiwake is an easy snorkeling opportunity.
Find a calm day to go out to sting ray cove in the morning, it gets busier as the day goes on.
Finally, Fidel Murphy's Pubis good as it's not in downtown George Town and you can get some ex-pat crowd there.
Cruise Ships in George Town are a P-I-T-A but many of the downtown businesses are only open when the cruise passengers are in town.

I second this. Food and atmosphere were amazing. Be sure to get a rum flight.
