re: Traveling to Arizona: Recs on things to see/avoid

We went to Jerome yesterday after off road Jeeping and had a blast . Ate lunch at the Jerome Grand Hotel and shopped for a few hours at many old school western “touristy” stores. Rock/gem prices where much better than in Sedona itself .

We really had a fun day there with the old haunted mining town vibe!

Finished the day enjoying the cool healing waters of oak creek at one of the many picnic areas
on the creek north of town.

Ps. Mariposa is one of the finest restaurants I’ve ever been to. Outstanding environment, food and service.
