Has anyone traveled to a country needing results for a Covid test within 3 days of travel?

Wondering how people guarantee they get their results back within 3 days.

Cash.

I’ll be doing that next week. Using the same place a friend used a few weeks ago to get to Croatia. $200 and they offering 48 hours or less.

You could also contact clinics that offer the rapid tests and schedule those within the window.

I'm planning one in November and hoping to do it locally, but as a fallback there is a company that will Fedex a test kit to you, you Fedex the sample back to them and they have the results to you by email within 24 hours of them receiving it. $219.

The covid consultants

I may do a local test and this one both, just as insurance.

I have yet to find a rapid test clinic that will offer a PCR test for asymptomatic individuals and offer 72 hours or less.

What was your friends general thoughts on Croatia during Covid? May be looking to go there next month.

Weird.

Surprised you can't get a 15 minute test result in 72 hours.

Not surprised about the symptomatic issue. I would just fake a cough.

I can find several antigen tests in that time frame but none of the required PCR tests for Aruba, which is where I’m going. Some offered 2-4 days and warned of delays to backlogs.

I don’t want to risk a trip on those delays. Plus, as I mentioned, I’d have to lie and claim I have symptoms.

Understandable.

What a PITA.

Here's hoping this is easier to get done or not required when we (fingers crossed) go to Croatia in June.

Not sure where you are located, but TGMC in Houma has started advertising drive thru testing with same day results. You just need to call and make an appointment. We plan on using before we travel to Belize in late October.

As "luck" would have it my fiancé, had to do this today because she had a slight fever. In line for test @10:45am, results were reported at 12pm. Negative

I’m in NOLA. Don’t have to worry about this til the end of November but trying to get a plan. Might have to keep Houma in my back pocket.

Cvs is an option as well. Gota do these test on a weekend most likely
