Something that holds a few days worth of stuff and fits the guideline for carry ons. Going on a couple of trips.

Pelican 1510 case. The plane might blow up but the case will keep your shite safe.

The Patagonia Black Hole 60Ls are pretty nice. It's a duffel style but has back pack straps and is light & durable. I have used mine as a carry on before with no issue.

Not sure if you're looking for something like that or a wheel bag.

You could carry a sweet digital clock in that thing.

You can go cheaper if this is not for frequent travel. I have had decent luck with travelpro and it has lasted and it's not near the price of pelican, briggs, etc.

I just bought that one due to the JCPenny sale. It is very nice, super light, and fits a good amount of stuff in it.

LuggageWorks Stealth 22" is the most durable bag I've ever owned. There is a reason that flight crews use it. It's not that expensive $289.00.

A carry on bag from a department store will do just fine if you're staying in the same place the whole trip.

Packing cubes and a packable backpack are also good to bring if you are staying at multiple places on your trip.

I'd highly reccommend a bag without wheels for your carry on. They are much lighter and can hold more stuff (since they don't have a frame and wheels). They also give you much more flexibility when travelling with only a carry on because it is much easier to go up stairs, take trains, etc.

Both my wife and I have the Tom Bihn Aeronaut and absolutely love them. We have used the hell out of them, and they still look brand new. They're light and practically laid out. I can travel for week out of mine - including a suit/dress shoes using this garment sleeve. It has also fit on every type of regional jet's overhead bins, so no gate checking.
