To hell with airports.

Not only did my flight get cancelled two hours after it was scheduled, they can’t pull my bag and get it to me within an additional 2 hours? This is why I prefer to drive everywhere.

If I have the time, I will drive instead of flying commercial 100% of the time. The only time I fly is if I’m PIC.

I should have just completely declined an additional flight and drive the extra 4 hours

Sounds like an airline issue. Not an airport issue.
And if your cancelled flight/delayed luggage is not to your home airport, congratulations. You just got a wardrobe complements of said airline.

agree completely...I will drive up to 8 hours in order to avoid flying. To me, that is the most miserable of all modes of travel.

don't ever fly private. It'll make commercial flights even more miserable for you.

That's certainly frustrating, but I can tell you I've lost way more than two hours on road trips due to traffic, accidents, etc.
Anything over a 5 hour drive is automatically a flight for me, or I just won't go.

I too prefer flying over driving.
Don't check a bag and half the problem is solved.
Have been stuck in too many damn traffic meltdowns, and I commute ~300 miles a week. So I am sure as hell not climbing behind the wheel for a pleasure trip.
