Thinking about making a quick trip up to Chicago 1st week of June

For a U2 concert at Soldier Field. Luckily, the Cubs are hosting the Cardinals tha same weekend. I need some advise:
I've checked Airbnb-are there any better house share sites?
Also, I see that Wrigley and Soldier Field are on opposite sides of the city. Would it be better to stay one night close to Wrigley, then another close to Soldier? Or better to just find a place in the middle? (We'll actually be there Friday-Monday, so 3 nights)
What else are must-dos? I've never been to Chicago and want to do as much as time allows.
What's the best way to get Cubs tickets?
What's the best Chicago style pizza?
Thanks in ad advance.

Unless saving money is a big issue, I'd recommend staying in a hotel. If you've used Airbnb before and like it, then go ahead. I hate it personally.

It doesn't really matter where you stay, it's pretty easy to get between the two sites or anywhere in the city by public transportation or uber/cab.

Millenium Park, Navy Pier (though many would disagree, I'd recommend a couple hours there), and if you want one "cultural" thing then either the art institute or field museum, but if you're there for a short time during the good weather then it's not a must
I'd also recommend going to the top of the Hancock instead of Willis/Sears. Less crowded and probably a better experience overall.

You can get outside the park like any other event on the planet, but you're not going to get a good deal like you would at many others. It's probably just better to get tickets on Stubhub rather than worrying about it. Sitting under the roof behind the plate is good for staying out of the sun, but an absolutely terrible view for a baseball game.

Every person is going to have a different opinion on this. Just go to the "famous" place most convenient to you. (Lou's, Giordano's, Uno/Due, Pequods) Just don't frick the pizza up by getting too many toppings, one or two max. I tend to prefer my deep dish just cheese while I usually like other types with toppings.

Good info here already. A architectural water tour is great if the weather is good or take water taxi from the museum to the pier area for a great view of the skyline from the lake

You're fine staying in one place.

Eat a Chicago style hot dog. You can get them anywhere just make sure it is made with a Vienna Beef hot dog. That is a company not a type of hot dog.
Also have an Italian beef sandwich. They are sloppy as hell, but taste like the very best French dip sandwich you will ever eat.

To expand on my one-sentence post from last night...
Not sure about other sites, but you're fine using Airbnb or reserving a hotel room.
Stay closer to downtown in River North or The Loop. The Red Line is accessible from either area and can get you to Wrigley (via Addison) and Soldier Field (via Roosevelt).
Architectural boat tour, Willis Tower/Hancock Tower, Millennium Park, Grant Park, the new Riverwalk, and Navy Pier are all tourist traps, but probably those "must-dos" on weekend trips. You can also head over the Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, and/or Field Museum if you're open to braving the crowds. You can get some excellent panoramic views of the skyline from Museum Campus.
Speaking of views, it might be nice to walk along Lakeshore path with Lake Michigan + the skyline.
Like you would any other event, but I would recommend StubHub, which someone also suggested above.
I'm not much of a deep dish guy, but I very much prefer Pequod's and Lou's over places like Gino's East and Giordano's.

I was in for a long weekend August before last. We rented the Divi bikes and rode along the lakeshore, enjoyed immensely. Divi bikes are rental bikes with stations all around the city, just rent with a credit card and return anywhere (but you do have to check in to a bike stand every 45 minutes or so).
We watched the Cubs and found the better tickets on Stubhub. I insisted on going to a day game, and they are so few and far between now, they always sell out. The El train has a stop one block from the stadium, so stay downtown and take the El.

I use Divvy during the spring, summer, and falls months to get to work. It's convenient and affordable. Only $100/year.
For tourists, this is a good recommendation. However, you do not necessarily need to return the bike after its 30 minutes. They'll just recommend you return the bike to a docking station to avoid additional fees.

My favorite Chicago pizza is Pequod's. For burgers, Kuma's Corner is really good. The Art Institute is definitely worth a visit if you have the time.
You should eat a Chicago style hot dog. And sit in the left field bleachers at Wrigley.
