Thinking about driving to Houston just the wife and I for a long weekend. Looking for a few fun things to do. Breweries, museums and a good place to watch the LSU/Auburn game this weekend?

St. Arnolds
The Natural Science Museum is pretty cool, & Nasa of course
Christian's Tailgate is an LSU bar down the street from Minute Maid

Little Woodrow’s on Shepard is the LSU alumni watch party spot. It used to be Christians in the Heights. Not downtown.

Saturday should be nice patio weather. Most people will be watching football during the day and WS at night. So the bars should be loaded up. Some are even having their Halloween party on Saturday

I’m a fan of Eureka Heights. Fun brewery with good beer.

You could go to an Astro’s game.

Menil Collection, Rothko Chapel, Byzantine Fresco Chapel and Dan Flavin Installation are all walking distance from each other. Cy Twombly museum and a photography museum are also in that area.

Search on here. There’s probably more info than you’ll ever want to read about Houston.

Little Woodrow's on Shepherd is the LSU Alumni bar...but there are so many LSU alums/fans in Houston, just about any bar will have the LSU game on.

Kirby Ice House has a huge patio and a ton of TVs.

The museum downtown is really good. I was surprised at how much they had. Worth checking out for sure.

Not only were you horribly wrong, but I just noticed that the OP didn't even mention the Astros (or indicate that he was a fan of baseball at all).
