Tennessee State Park system - Great part of the USA!

I visit my family east of Nashville a few times per year and whenever I go I try to spend a day at a state park. I just wanted to put a good word in for the Tennessee State Park system in Central and Eastern Tennessee. Its a beautiful part of the great country we live in.
If you are looking a a close, inexpensive trip to get back to nature...I can recommend looking thru the link below and find site for camping, fishing or hiking ....or as I like to do.....simply "chase waterfalls" !

Smokies are the most visited National Park. Beautiful area all times of the year but fall is something special up there.

Take I-24 from Nashville to Chattanooga. That is good for a week of entertainment.

I remember summer of 17 driving from louisiana to DC and just being in awe from the scenery. from Chattanooga all the way up I-81 in virginia. we took a detour in the johnson city area just cause we couldnt get enough
